There have been 1,226 new cases of pandemic infection in Pakistan. Due to these cases, the total number of infected people in the country has reached 2 lakh 73 thousand. Information has been given by the Health Ministry. 35 people have lost their lives due to Corona. In addition, the total number of people who died of corona in Pakistan has reached 5,882. The Ministry of National Health Services said that a total of 1,267 patients are currently in critical condition.
The maximum number of cases in the country have been reported in Khyber-Pakhtunwa, Islamabad, Balochistan, Sindh, Punjab, Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. Of the total infected cases, 117,598 cases are from Sindh, as well as 91,901 Punjab, 33,220 Khyber-Pakhtunwa, 14,841 in Islamabad, 11,578 in Balochistan, 2,023 in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and 1,952 cases have been registered in Gilgit-Baltistan. Apart from this, 237,434 of the total patients have returned to their homes after getting healthy. The ministry has reported that so far 18,68,180 people have been tested in India, out of which 23,254 tests have come up in the last 24 hours.
According to the information received from WHO, there have been reports of spread of corona infection in a record 2 lakh 84 thousand 196 people during 24 hours globally. 9,753 victims have also died in this interval. Till now a total of 16 million people have been infected in the world, while so far more than 6 lakh 40 have lost their lives with the virus.
