CM Shivraj pays tributes to former PM of India Morarji Desai on his death anniversary

Bhopal: Today is the death anniversary of former Bharat Ratna awardee Morarji Desai. Morarji Desai passed away on this day (April 10, 1995) in Mumbai. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has paid homage to Morarji Desai on his death anniversary. Yes, in fact, he has tweeted. In his tweet, he writes: "I pay homage to former Bharat Ratna-honoured Prime Minister Morarji Desai on his death anniversary, Shri Desai has been instrumental in strengthening democratic ideology in the country right from the freedom movement.''

 

 

At the same time, he wrote in his tweet: "Salutations on the death anniversary of former Prime Minister Morarji Desai, who played politics for the protection and social upliftment of national interests and democratic values! Your strong and welfare ideas will always inspire future generations for the progress of the nation and the upliftment of society.'' Morarji Desai was born on February 29, 1896, in a Gujarati Anavil Brahmin family. His father's name was Ranchhodji Nagarji Desai and his mother's name was Vajiben Desai. His father was a school teacher and he was disciplined. From an early age, young Morarji learned from his father the virtue of working hard under all circumstances. At the same time, he learned from his father to follow the path of truth.

He was educated at St. Buser High School and passed his matriculation examination. Morarji Desai was the chief freedom fighter of India. Not only that, Morarji Desai became the fourth Prime Minister of the country, and he was the first Prime Minister to come from another party instead of the Indian National Congress. At the same time, he is the only person to be honored with both India's highest fame, 'Bharat Ratna' and Pakistan's highest honor, 'Nishan-e-Pakistan.'
