Lucknow: The fire broke out in the second floor of PICUP building, which houses several government offices. Fire destroyed several important files and papers as fire. This has angered Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath. Taking strong action on Wednesday's fire incident, Adityanath has set up a three-member committee to probe the incident. The Committee is to submit its report within 48 hours. According to the report, the fire was on the second floor of the building which spread to the third floor. About 18 fire tenders were pressed into service to control the fire. It took several hours to extinguish it. No casualty has been reported during the period. Some of the building departments include the State Industrial Development Corporation (UPSIDC), Forest, AIDS Control and UP Public Service Commission, which have been in discussions for corruption-related issues.
