Yogi's meeting with PM Modi continues, discussion made over UP assembly elections

New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath is meeting PM Narendra Modi in the national capital. The meeting between the two leaders at the PM's residence is still underway. Yogi will also meet Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president JP Nadda after meeting PM Modi. The meeting will take place around 12.30 pm.

BJP leaders or senior party functionaries did not give any official information about the visit, but sources claimed that the process was to include Jitin Prasada and some other leaders including AK Sharma in the Uttar Pradesh government. He had earlier met Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday.

After meeting Shah, Yogi Adityanath tweeted, "Today, he received his guidance by offering courtesy call on Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi. Thank you very much to the Home Minister for giving him his valuable time for the visit.' This round of meetings in Delhi is considered very important in view of next year's assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh. The election strategy may be discussed in this meeting.
