Lucknow: The Yogi government in Uttar Pradesh has issued directions that 5,000 rupees be paid to the family member of the deceased for the funeral of those who lost their lives due to corona infection in rural areas. Additional Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh has sent a letter to all district magistrates and district panchayat raj officers. CM Yogi has said that the arrangements will be made in gram panchayats. The funeral site of the deceased should be identified from the corona at a short distance from the place where the funeral site of the commonly deceased is located. The last rites of such a person should be performed under the corona Protocol. Yogi said that an amount of 5,000 rupees should be provided to the families of each such person for the final action. CM Yogi Adityanath further said that if the families are not able to cooperate in the funeral, the Gram Panchayat should use 5,000 rupees to cremate such a person. The Additional Chief Secretary has categorically stated that the funeral of a person on the death of a corona should not be affected in any case due to economic reasons.
