CM Yogi said - 97 out of 130 promises of the manifesto have already been fulfilled in the budget, 54 thousand crores will be spent

Lucknow: The Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh on Thursday presented its first budget for the financial year 2022-23. State Finance Minister Suresh Khanna has presented a budget of Rs.6 lakh 15 thousand crore in the Vidhan Sabha today. The budget has focused in all sectors including the security system of the state, women's security, employment, agriculture. Khanna said that this budget is also focused on the medical and health and education of the people of the state. Suresh Khanna further said that efforts have been made to fulfill the promise made in the Sankalp Patra before the election.

At the same time, UP CM Yogi said in a press conference after the presentation of the budget that, 'The budget has been made keeping in mind every section of the society including villages, poor, farmers, youth and women. He said that a Lok Kalyan Patra was issued by the BJP before the 2022 assembly elections. 130 announcements were made in this, out of which 97 resolutions have been included in this budget. He said that Rs 54 thousand 583 crore has been approved in the budget for these schemes.

CM Yogi said that, 'Our government has presented the budget for the year 2022-23 today. This budget has been prepared keeping in mind the overall development of the state, villages, poor, farmers, youth, women, laborers and every section of the society according to the sentiments of the aspirations of 25 crore people of the state. From this point of view, this budget is also a vision for the next 5 years, which will prepare a blueprint for a bright future along with inclusive, holistic development of the state.
