UP: CM Yogi will inaugurate covid Hospital on September 5

Lucknow: The 300-bed Kovid Hospital to be held on Monday at Pediatrics Institute of BRD Medical College, Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, has been canceled due to incomplete preparations. The same will be inaugurated by CM Yogi Adityanath on 5 September. Ward ventilators were trialed on Sunday. But the investigation could not be done. This is the reason that officers have asked for a week's time from CM.

BSL-Three in the Microbiology Department of BRD Medical College is almost ready. It will also be inaugurated by CM. The LNT company has built Bio Safety Lab level three at a cost of around Rs 2.5 crore. First medical college of the state, where BSL-3 lab is ready. BSL-3 lab is considered very efficient in controlling infection.

Also, the Cobos machine will also come in the lab in October. Subsequently, 1000 COVID-19 samples will be tested in just four hours. Dr. Amresh Singh, Head of Department of Microbiology of BRD, said that Biosafety Lab will conduct research on Yellow Fever Virus, West Nile Virus, COVID-19 Virus, Swine Flu Virus, Mars Virus, Drug Resistant TB Bacteria. Collector Vijayendra Pandian informed that the Chief Minister will inaugurate Kovid Hospital on 5 September. The BSL Three Lab will also be inaugurated simultaneously. Preparations are going on. Saree preparations will be completed on 5 September.
