Congress to start campaigning for Bihar Assembly Elections on September 1

New Delhi: Political parties have stepped up the exercise for the Bihar Assembly elections. To revive the electoral fortunes of the Congress party, former party president Rahul Gandhi will convene the election campaign of Bihar on Tuesday. Rahul will address party workers and the public through a virtual rally. The Congress has named it Bihar Revolution Virtual Conference.

It is being said that through these rallies, the Congress will try to maintain its political equation by holding a virtual General Assembly rally in 84 assembly constituencies of Bihar. Congress in-charge of Bihar assembly elections and National Secretary Ajay Kapoor said that from September 1 to 21, the Congress will hold 100 virtual rallies across the state. He said that the people of Bihar want to change the current government. The people of Bihar have made up their mind to form a government for development.

Instructions have been issued to the district presidents of the party to make the Bihar Revolution General Conference a success. For this, a target has been set to ensure at least eight to ten thousand people in each conference. Ajay Kapoor told that leaders from the state to country-level will put forth their views in the conference. In this Congress rally, local leaders will also be given an opportunity to speak.
