Congress leader Ashok Chavan met Devendra Fadnavis, will he join BJP?

Mumbai:  After the political turmoil in Maharashtra, now Uddhav Thackeray and Eknath faction are staking their claim on Shiv Sena. At the same time, now the news is coming that Eknath Shinde is now in touch with the big leaders of the Uddhav faction. It is being told that he is planning to include these leaders in his faction. Meanwhile, it is now being told that senior Congress leader and former CM Ashok Chavan and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis met in Worli on Thursday.

According to the report, both the leaders had gone for Ganesh darshan at Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's OSD Ashish Kulkarni's house in Worli. Since then, the fragrance in the political corridors has intensified. However, while interacting with the media, Chavan has rubbished speculations of joining the BJP. Let us tell you that Ashish Kulkarni has worked with Shiv Sena founder Bal Thackeray and former Congress President Rahul Gandhi. He had joined BJP a few days back. Their role is said to be very important in making strategies for Rajya Sabha and MLC elections in Maharashtra.

Talking to the media, Congress leader Ashok Chavan said that I will soon participate in the Bharat Jodo Congress rally in Delhi. All speculations that he will join BJP are baseless. I had gone to Ashish Kulkarni's place for Ganesh Darshan when Deputy Chief Minister Fadnavis had arrived. We had a cordial meeting in the presence of many guests.
