Congress leader Jairam Ramesh apologizes to Ajit Doval's son, Know why

New Delhi: Congress veteran and former Union Minister Jairam Ramesh has apologized to Vivek Doval, son of National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval, on Saturday. This apology has also been accepted by Doval. This case relates to a case of defamation of the year 2019. Vivek had also named Jairam Ramesh from the list of accused in this case and has now withdrawn his name after seeking an apology.

Vivek Doval had filed a defamation case last year against Jairam Ramesh as well as a magazine. An article published in this magazine used 'derogatory remarks against conscience'. On giving information about the apology sought by Jairam Ramesh, it was Vivek Doval who said on Saturday that his apology has been accepted. In his apology, Jayaram has said that he had given a statement against Doval and made many allegations against him enthusiastically. Jairam admitted the mistake and said, "I have to accept this." But this happened in an election environment.

Vivek Doval had filed a defamation case against the magazine in a Delhi court in January 2019 for publishing a derogatory article. Jairam Ramesh had repeated the derogatory words through an article published in the same magazine, so a criminal case was filed against him by Vivek Doval.
