Digvijaya Singh attacks BJP, says, ' Savarkar's name was included in Gandhi's killers'

Bhopal: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has released its manifesto issued for the Maharashtra elections and promised Bharat Ratna for Veer Savarkar. After the release of manifesto,  all the opposition parties of the country have started attacking the BJP.

The Opposition is targeting the BJP by saying how it is demanding the award of Bharat Ratna to a person who is accused of involvement in the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the country. On the other hand, Congress has also attacked BJP on this matter. Senior Congress leader and former Madhya Pradesh CM Digvijay Singh has said that Veer Savarkar had two aspects of his life, in the first he apologized to the British and his participation in the freedom struggle after returning from prison and in the second aspect his father Mahatma Involvement in Gandhi's assassination.

Significantly, the BJP had recently issued its manifesto in view of the Maharashtra elections, in which the party had demanded the Bharat Ratna for Veer Savarkar. Let us tell you that in the Maharashtra elections, the BJP is contesting elections in alliance with Shiv Sena, but even after this, both parties have issued separate manifestos.
