Guwahati: The Congress MP has made a big announcement, saying that he will give one month's salary for the construction of a mosque and hospital in Ayodhya. Congress MP from Assam Abdul Khaliq has said this. He will donate one month's salary to the Muslim side in Ayodhya to build a hospital on the land given for the mosque. The Indo Islamic Cultural Foundation built for the mosque is planning to develop a mosque as well as a hospital and many other facilities on this land. Khalik, MP from Barpeta Lok Sabha seat in Assam, tweeted, 'I decided to give one month salary for the construction of a hospital-cum-museum on behalf of the government by the Uttar Pradesh Sunni Central Waqf Board on the land given for the mosque.' It is noteworthy that the Uttar Pradesh Sunni Central Waqf Board has set up a trust named 'Indo Islamic Cultural Foundation' with the objective of furthering the construction work on the land allotted for the mosque in Ayodhya. It is proposed to develop many necessary facilities including mosques, hospitals, research centers on this five-acre land. On November 9 last year, the Supreme Court, in a judgment in the Ayodhya case, ordered the construction of a Ram temple at the disputed site and the Muslim side to give five acres of land to any other place in Ayodhya for the construction of a mosque. On behalf of the administration, five acres of land in Dhannipur village of Sohawal tehsil of Ayodhya district was handed over to the Sunni Central Waqf Board.
