Telangana Congress senior leader Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy has resigned to the party. He has sent his resignation letter to Party President Rahul Gandhi. Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy is likely to meet PM Modi today in the afternoon in New Delhi. Reddy who aspired for Khammam Lok Sabha ticket is said to be upset with the Congress after it denied ticket to him. Though Sudhakar Reddy had been kept on the party sidelines for some time, his resignation comes as a shocker to the Congress, particularly with the Lok Sabha elections scheduled for April 11. The Congress has lost nine of its 19 state legislators to TRS along with the party senior leaders.
