Mumbai: Controversy has started in Maharashtra over a postal written by a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader. In the book, PM Narendra Modi has been compared to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The controversy over 'today's Shivaji-Narendra Modi' increased so much that the ruling Shiv Sena, Congress and NCP have expressed their displeasure over the book and sought answers from the BJP. The ruling parties of Maharashtra have accused the opposition party of blasphemy against Shivaji and sought their answers. About this book, Shiv Sena MP and spokesperson Sanjay Raut attacked the BJP and questioned MLA Shivendraje Bhosle and BJP MP Sambhaji Raje Bhosle whether they accept this book. Regarding this book, BJP MLA and spokesperson Atul Bhatkhalkar said that PM Modi himself will not like this book. He said that Shivaji Maharaj cannot be compared to anyone. He said that PM Modi considers Shivaji Maharaj as his mentor. He himself would not like to be compared to Chhatrapati Shivaji. Along with the ruling party, BJP leaders are also opposing this book. The BJP has come on the back foot with this book. The Congress has termed it an insult to Shivaji Maharaj.
