Bank frauds increased during BJP's tenure, Congress attacks Modi government

New Delhi: The Congress has once again attacked the Modi government over the state of the economy. Congress party chief spokesperson Randeep Surjewala has said that the RBI's emergency fund has fallen to a six-year low as the BJP government has took Rs.76 lakh from RBI to cover up its failures and severe economic downturn.The BJP government has pushed the country into an economic emergency.

The Congress attacked PM Modi on Thursday through a series of tweets on rupee depreciation and economic sluggishness. In a tweet, the Congress party said, India Ratings and Research (Fitch Group) has revised India’s FY20 GDP growth to 6.7% (six-year low) from its earlier forecast of 7.3%. It expects FY20 to be third consecutive year of subdued growth."

In another tweet from his social media handle, the Congress party wrote, "After looting the RBI, the least this govt can do is inform taxpayers how their money will be used. Unfortunately asking BJP to be transparent is like asking BJP to fix the economy - Impossible."
