Congress will launch a campaign against government, emphasis will be on economic issues

New Delhi: After the crushing defeat in the Lok Sabha elections, the Congress, which has become sluggish, is now in active mode. The party has planned to take the failures of the central government among the public regarding the present economy of the country. According to the news, the Congress party will stage a massive protest against the Modi government from the first week of November.

let us tell you that the Congress Party has become more aggressive since the government reduced the estimate of India's growth rate by the big financial institutions of the country and abroad.

The party has made preparations to surround the government on issues ranging from inflation to employment. Recently the International Monetary Fund slashed India's growth forecast for FY 2019-20. According to the latest IMF estimates, India's GDP will grow at 6.1 percent this year. It was earlier estimated to be 7.3 per cent in April. Before the IMF, the World Bank also lowered its GDP estimate to six per cent.

According to the World Bank, India's growth rate could be six per cent. Whereas the growth rate in the year 2018-19 was 6.9 per cent. The World Bank says that in 2021, the growth rate may come back to 6.9 per cent. At the same time, in 2022 it can be improved further. India's growth in 2022 is estimated to be 7.2 per cent. Earlier, Indian-origin economist Abhijit Banerjee, who won the Nobel Prize for Economics, had said that the Indian economy is in a very poor state. He said that the available data does not raise confidence that the country's economy is going to improve so soon. The Modi government is constantly under attack from the opposition for the declining economy. Despite all efforts, the government has not been able to bring any significant improvement in the economy.
