After Maharashtra, covid-19 has knocked once again in Odisha. 25 students of a university in Sambalpur have become covid-19 positive. University of Odisha's Sambalpur district has found 25 engineering students covid-19 positive. In the wake of covid-19 in the campus of a college in Sambalpur district, the district administration on Sunday ordered the university to be closed indefinitely. The students were tested in the college on Saturday, in which 25 engineering students were found to be covid-19 positive. The hostels of these engineering students have been declared as Containment Zones. The district administration has completely banned the general public from entering the containment zone. Only those involved with essential services have been allowed to enter the Containment Zone. Earlier Maharashtra government increased the lockdown till 8 March in Amravati and Achalpur. Meanwhile, the operation of essential services has been allowed in the district. Anjangaon Surji has been declared as the Containment Zone. In both cities (Amravati and Achalpur), lockdown was imposed for a week on 21 February. This lockdown was imposed till March 1. But after reviewing the situation on Saturday, it has been announced to increase the lockdown in both the cities again. During the lockdown, all shops except the essential items will remain closed. Besides, all government and private educational institutions, private coaching centers, etc. establishments will remain closed. People will be able to buy the goods they need between 9 am and 5 pm.
