Corona brews over in Delhi, ever-increasing infection cases

New Delhi: Covid is once again on the rise in the country's capital Delhi. The situation is continuously deteriorating due to increasing cases. The highest number of cases have been reported in a day since November 24. On Wednesday, 5,506 new cases of covid were reported and 20 patients have lost their lives due to the disease. Earlier, 6,224 cases were reported on November 24. The transition rate has increased to 6.10%. Earlier, there was an infection rate of 6.85% on December 1. 90,201 people were examined in a day. With this, the corona recovery rate has come down to about 95 percent.

The number of active patients crosses 19,000: The number of active patients has increased to 19,455. So far, 11,133 patients of Covid have lost their lives. 417 new cantonment zones have been created in a day. The number of patients in hospitals is continuously increasing. According to a report released on Wednesday, 3,301 patients have recovered in a day.

So far so many people have been infected: The number of active patients is continuously increasing as the number of patients who have recovered has been less than those who have been infected for several days. According to the report, 6 lakh 90,508 people have been infected with a corona in Delhi so far and out of this 6 lakh, 59 thousand 980 people have recovered after overcoming coronavirus.

Hotspot Zone number crosses 3700: Total mortality rate in Delhi is 1.6%. A total of 8,219 beds in Delhi hospital have 4,456 beds vacant. 3,763 patients are undergoing treatment at Delhi hospital, 84 patients in the covid care center, 54 patients in the covid health center, and 10,048 patients in home isolation. The number of patients in hospitals and home isolation is continuously increasing. The number of patients in ventilators and ICU is also increasing. The number of hotspot zones has increased to 3708 as compared to 3291 in 1 day earlier.
