Raipur: 1,157 new cases of covid-19 infection have been registered in Chhattisgarh on Saturday. The number of people infected with this covid-19 in the state has increased to 28,390. According to the information received, the State Health Ministry officials said that 1,157 cases of infection have been reported. These include 401 from Raipur district, 172 from Durg, 66-66 from Rajnandgaon and Bilaspur, 58 from Bastar, 44 from Dhamtari, 43 from Sukma, 41 from Janjgir-Champa, 40 from Raigad, 27-27 from Mahasamund and Kanker, from Narayanpur 23, 21-21 from Kabirdham and Bijapur, 18 from Gariaband, 15-15 from Balod and Korea, 14 from Balodabazar, nine from Sarguja, 8 from Bemetra, seven each from Mungeli and Jashpur, 4-4 from Korba and Dantewada. 3 cases have been reported from Surajpur and 2 from Kondagaon. Officials have said that 5,60,273 samples have been tested so far in Chhattisgarh. Of these, 28,390 people have been confirmed infected. 15,818 patients have become infection free after treatment, while 12,313 patients are currently under treatment in the state. 259 people lost their lives due to infection of covid-19 in the state. It has been learned that the infection of covid has been confirmed in the maximum 10,078 people in Raipur district of the state. 138 lives of covid-19 infected people in the district.
