45,951 new cases reported for the third consecutive day, 817 died in last 24 hours

New Delhi: The corona epidemic has severely affected every region across the country, and in the meantime, the situation in India is returning to normal after battling the second wave of corona infection. For the third consecutive day, corona cases have been registered below 50,000 and the death toll has also come down. According to the latest health ministry data, 45,951 new corona cases have been reported and 817 infected people have lost their lives in the last 24 hours. Earlier, 46,148 corona cases were reported on Monday and 37,566 on Tuesday. In the last 24 hours, 60,729 people have recovered from corona, which means that 15,595 active cases have come down yesterday.

On the 48th consecutive day in the same country, there has been more recovery than the new cases of corona virus. As on 29th June, 33.28 crore corona vaccine has been administered across the country. 36.51 lakh vaccines were administered on the previous day. So far, 41 crore corona tests have been conducted. About 19 lakh corona sample tests were conducted on the previous day, with a positive rate of more than 3 percent. The corona mortality rate in the country is 1.31 percent while the recovery rate is about 97 percent. Active cases are less than 2 per cent. India ranks third in the world in active terms of corona.
