IMA appeals to CM Pushkar Singh Dhami over Kanwar Yatra, says- don't invite third wave

The IMA has urged state governments across the country not to relax restrictions that prevent the spread of the epidemic. He also appealed to Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami to ban Kanwar yatra. The IMA said that in view of the possible third wave of the corona, the Kanwar Yatra to be held in July-August should not be organized.

IMA said there is not much time left for the possible third wave of corona infection to occur. In such a situation, organizing the Kanwar Yatra will not be the right step. He said he had already invited the second wave once by negligence in the first wave of the corona. Now, making such a mistake again can put the country in trouble. IMA had said on Monday that with the active leadership of PM Narendra Modi, with the help of the latest medical technology and the services of doctors in the country, India is literally coming out of the devastating second wave of the corona epidemic. However, we need to be very careful with the third wave right now.

The release said that the last one and a half years of fighting with corona infection have made it clear that the only way to root out the disease is to immunize as many people as immunizing it. IMA had also expressed concern that the impact of the second wave of the corona has diminished so far that in many parts of the country "both the government and the people have become complacent and have started participating in mass functions without following the Corona Protocol.''
