Uttarakhand: People locked homes and left fearing corona test

Dehradun: In Jaspur area, after few people of the area reported corona positive, the administration sealed the entire area. Even before the COVID-19 investigation in the buffer zone, all the people of the street have left their homes. DM has handed over the investigation of the case to the CMO.

On August 22, in Mohalla Bhup Singh, the third street was sealed leaving two streets adjacent to the street of people found COVID-19 positive. MLA Aadesh Chauhan had reached the spot and told the officers to remove the blockers installed on streets. The BJP leader Ajay Aggarwal had accused the officers of not working properly.

There is silence on the street. BJP leader and former MP Sheetal Joshi, who came to know about the people of the street, did not find anyone on the street. He informed the Chief Minister's Private Secretary Eva Sahai. Demanded the DM to remove the blocker from the street after investigating the case. DM Ranjana Rajguru talked over call and said that the investigation has been handed over to CMO Devendra Panchpal. He will reach Jaspur for investigation on Wednesday. Also, the entire case will be investigated.
