Dariyaganj violence: Court to hear on January 7, 6 accused have filed bail plea

New Delhi: Violence in Delhi's Daryaganj against Citizenship Amendment Act will be heard on 7 January. Please tell that 6 accused had filed bail petition in Tis Hazari Court. The Tis Hazari court had earlier rejected the bail plea of 15 accused, after which 6 accused again approached the court.

Violence erupted here during the protest in Delhi on Friday when there was a protest against the citizenship amendment laws. During this time, the protesters opened fire on vehicles and also stoned the police. Meanwhile, the police arrested 15 accused here. Apart from these, some minors were also detained by the police, although they were later released.

There was a protest in Delhi's Jama Masjid on Friday regarding the Citizenship Act. After the nomination of the protesters, Jantar-Mantar was in the process of marching. Which the police stopped at Delhi Gate itself. In the evening, the protesters set the car on fire outside the Daryaganj DCP office. The police had to use a water canon to drive out the miscreants. After the ruckus, a heavy police force was deployed in Daryaganj.
