New Delhi: India logged 171 fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours said the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Wednesday, January 11. The country's active caseload stands at 2,342. A total of 4,41,47,322 people have recovered since the onset of the pandemic, of which 148 recoveries were clocked in the last 24 hours. The active cases comprise 0.01% of the total infections and the recovery rate stands at 98.8%.The daily positivity rate was recorded at 0.09 % whreas the weekly positivity was at 0.11 %, as per ministry data. Besides, The country conducted 1,80,926 tests in the last 24 hours and thus far a total of 91.25 crore tests have been done. On the vaccination front, 220.15 crore Total Vaccine doses (95.14 cr Second Dose and 22.44 cr Precaution Dose) have been given under Nationwide Vaccination Drive, under which more than 220.15 crore vaccine doses have been administered to eligible people across the country. In the last 24 hours, around 44,397 doses were administered. Meanwhile, on Monday Union Health Ministry also said that "Sentinel sequencing of 324 COVID-19 Positive Samples reveals the presence of all Omicron Variants in Community.
