The BCCI has clearly stated that it is fully supportive of the five Indian players trapped in the bio-bubble protocol violation. Talking to a media, a BCCI official said that, in this case, there is a complete conspiracy smell. This is a very poor move of Cricket Australia to unsettle Team India. The case of breaking the bio bubble by the players of Team India has been seen when a video went viral on social media on 2 January. The case has been made headline by the Australian media and the cases are beginning to look very serious. After this, the cricket board of both the countries issued a joint statement regarding the five players Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, Navdeep Saini, Shubman Gill and Prithvi Shaw who are in isolation after this incident. Talking to the media, a BCCI official informed the entire incident and said that all these players were standing outside the restaurant as it was raining. After which these players went inside that restaurant. He told that if this is an attempt to destabilize Team India before the third Test match, then it is a very bad move for Cricket Australia. The officer further said that, first of all, he has been given permission to train and secondly I do not think there was any adverse effect. Bio-security protocols have not been violated by Team India in any way. Everyone associated with the Indian team is well aware of this. This is an attempt by the Australian media to deliberately bounce the case after the second Test match loss. The next few days are very important for Team India as they are going to leave for Sydney for the third Test match. Whether these five players will be available for the third Test match or not, it can be known within 72 hours. Team India is to play the third Test match against Australia from January 7 under the captaincy of Ajinkya Rahane.
