Himachal Pradesh: 10 people arrested for scam in cooperative society

Bilaspur: Police have detained 10 more people in connection with a case of embezzlement at the Talai Seva Cooperative Assembly Committee in Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh. Explain that about 33 crores rupees have been added to the committee. The main accused in the case, the House Secretary and two others have already been arrested. They are accused of a breakup of 33 crores. There are allegations that the House disregarded the rules and distributed loans worth crores of rupees to people outside its purview.

This was revealed in the audit report. According to the information received from the police, a case was registered against the secretary of the Talai Village Service Cooperative Assembly Society. After investigation, it was revealed that more people are involved in this scam. In this case, the police officials of the then committee included former chief Devraj son Gadka Ram, Pawan son Gyan Chand treasurer village and post office Talai, Ashwani Banyal son Pritam Singh committee member village and post office Jhabola, Prithvi Chand Dhiman son Amar Singh committee member village and post office Talai, Suresh Kumar Putra Jagatram Committee member village post office Talai was arrested. Further proceedings are on in the case.
