Pakistan: Fire breaks out in Perfume factory, 11 killed, 2 injured

Cylinder explosion has caught fire in a perfume factory. The incident took place in Pakistan's eastern city of Lahore. The explosion was so strong that the roof of the building collapsed, the people working there were buried under its debris, killing 11 people. According to Pakistan's The Dawn website, 11 people have died due to this. Rescue operations are in progress.

For your information, let us tell you that at least 11 people have been killed and two injured in a cylinder blast in Lahore city of Pakistan on Tuesday. According to reports in Pakistani media, about 15 laborers were inside the factory when the explosion took place. Local residents said they first heard an explosion, followed by a fire in the factory. The incident took place in Shahdara area of Lahore. The collapse of the roof of the building has been said to be the main cause of the accident.

According to hospital sources regarding the incident, the deceased have been identified as 37-year-old Jamil, 65-year-old Zahid, his wife Rashida Bibi, six-year-old Ariba, nine-year-old Moses, 45-year-old factory owner. Abid, and Naved are injured. Rescue team officer Rana Izhar said the fire was under control. He said that the people who died were mainly due to the collapse of the roof. Those who have been evacuated under the roof of the factory are being treated in the hospital.
