Coronavirus: Imran calls emergency meeting, threat to life of 500 students

A group of students has sought help from Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan. This student is stranded in the Chinese city of Wuhan. On the other hand, Imran Khan has issued instructions to call a high inter-ministerial meeting to deal with the coronavirus so that a concrete strategy can be devised to tackle this dangerous virus. There is no system of investigation of coronavirus in Pakistan and for that, it is dependent on China.

According to Pakistani media, China's Wuhan city has been cut off from the whole world. Transport and air traffic from Wuhan is currently stopped. This year there were cases of the disease in Wuhan itself and from there it was spread in different areas of China. In China, 106 people have died due to this virus while 4,515 people have been infected. At least five people including four Chinese nationals have been hospitalized for investigation of coronavirus infection in Pakistan.

Hafsa Tayyab, one of the Pakistani students trapped in Wuhan, told Geo News that the embassies of the other countries are planning to evacuate their citizens from Wuhan. There are more than 500 Pakistani students in Wuhan. The student said that if any one of these were infected, the lives of the remaining students would be in danger. Hafsa Tayyab said that there is a huge shortage of essential things here. If this situation continues, then the crisis of eating and drinking will also arise. Imran Khan's government is requesting that after considering our situation, remove us from here as soon as possible.
