This player in big trouble after Djokovic

The first tennis Grand Slam of the year has already come under controversy even before the Australia Open begins. The covid epidemic, vaccination and Australian government restrictions have led to the cancellation of the visa of another player after Novak Djokovic. Czech Player Renata Voráčová, who arrived to attend the Australia Open under vaccination exemption, has had to leave the country.

Czech doubles expert Renata Voráčová played in Melbourne earlier this week but has been asked to leave Australia after being detained by Australian Border Force officials. Reports say Renata has taken off from Melbourne airport for home due to vaccination trouble. The 38-year-old has been placed at the immigration centre in Melbourne, including Serbian legend Novak Djokovic. Djokovic is going through a legal process after his visa was cancelled and has challenged the government's decision in court.

The Australian Border Force has issued a notice of detaining two persons associated with the tennis tournament. While the Czech Foreign Ministry said in a statement, "We can confirm that Czech tennis player Renata Voráčová is in custody just like Djokovic because of visa trouble. We submitted a protest note through our embassy in Canberra and have sought clarification of the situation. However, Renata Voráčová has decided to pull out of the tournament due to limited prospects for training and leaving Australia. Vorakova, 38, made her Grand Slam debut in doubles in New York in 2002, but has won only one match in 12 matches at the top level and is currently ranked 81st.
