Dancer-singer shot in public, police in search of the criminals

Patna: A dancer and Bhojpuri singer has been shot by armed criminals in Bihar's Arrah. The dancer and singer, who was returning after finishing the program from the birthday party, has been surrounded and shot by armed criminals riding a motorcycle. Both have been admitted to Sadar hospital in injured condition. It is being said that the criminals have shot when they were resisted from dancing.

According to the police, there was a birthday party of the son of a panchayat Samiti member of Ahapura panchayat, which was attended by dancer Neelu and singer Mukesh. It was here that some people arrived drunk. These people tried to dance brilliantly with the dancer. This was opposed by singers and dancers. Then, there was a ruckus. At that time the matter was calmed down.

Then, the dancers and singer were returning. Due to this, five armed criminals came on a motorcycle near Salempur village under the Sandesh police station area and abused the dancer. Then, they fired at the dancer. In between, they opened fire on the singer who came to the rescue. Both were admitted to the hospital in injured condition, where treatment is going on. Dancer Neelu, who sustained bullet injuries, hails from Bhubaneswar in Odisha. At the same time, Bhojpuri singer Mukesh is a native of Dhanrua in Patna district, but for the last 10 years, he has been living in Sandesh of Bhojpur. In this incident of firing, the police say that panchayat Samiti member Ranveer Sah, including the criminal, is absconding from the house, and the search for them is going on.
