Barabanki: A horrific road accident has been reported in Barabanki, UP. Here a pickup hit two motorcycles. Due to this, 5 people on the motorcycle died. Four of the dead died on the spot. On the news of the accident, the police reached the spot and took the dead body and sent it for post-mortem. The incident took place on NH 28C Lucknow to Gonda Bahraich National Highway in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh.
According to the news received, 5 people died in a road accident near Bindaura village under police station Masauli. There was an uproar after the incident. According to eyewitnesses, two speeding motorcycles collided head-on in the Masauli police station area. Due to this, a pickup coming from the other side crushed both the motorcyclists.
Prashant Dubey, son of Laxmi, resident of Lakhpedabagh Barabanki and Pankaj Mishra, son of Vijay Prakash Mishra, resident of Kazi Mau Karnailganj Gonda were riding on the same motorcycle. On the other side, 28-year-old Deepak Gautam, son of Mevalal, 23-year-old Abhishek Gautam, son of Rajesh Gautam and 32-year-old Shivkaran Gautam, son of Mata Prasad were riding on the other motorcycle. All of them died in the accident. Superintendent of Police Anurag Vats said that 5 persons died in the incident. In an attempt to overtake the bus, the pickup trampled these motorcyclists. After filling the Panchnama of all, the bodies have been sent for postmortem.
