Nagpur: A murder incident has been reported from the Nagpur district of Maharashtra. Where a man attacked his cousin with a sword and killed him. Police said the two had a fight over using a water pump at a public well and the matter escalated to a fight. After this, the people of the criminal side attacked Abhishek Shahu and his family members. In which Abhishek was seriously injured. He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital. Due to the investigation, the doctors declared him dead. Abhishek's 70-year-old father Hari Om, mother Sarla (66) and his younger brother Sagar (35) were also injured in the attack. The incident took place around 1.30 pm on Wednesday. Kotwali police reached the spot as soon as the news was received. The house of Abhishek Shahu (39) is under construction, police said. He was extracting water from the well by installing a motor pump, due to which the criminals Shubham Shahu (21), Dipanshu Shahu, Rajni Shahu, and Karishma Shahu got into a fight with Abhishek and the matter reached the assault. The family members of the deceased Abhishek, who came to the rescue, were also attacked. Police have registered a case against the culprit under sections 302 (murder) and 34 (common intention) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Police have arrested the culprits. Since this incident, there has been mourning in the village. Police said that the family members of the deceased are also undergoing treatment in the hospital. The body will be handed over to the family members after post-mortem.
