Lucknow: On October 14, 2022, an attempt was made to rape a minor Hindu girl in Ballia, Uttar Pradesh. It is alleged that Naushad, a resident of his own locality, tried to kill the girl after failing to rape her. It is being told that during this the accused not only strangled the victim but also tried to cut the legs by breaking bones. The girl died on 21 October. The police arrested the accused Naushad after an encounter. A bulldozer has also run at his house. The victim's father says that he treated Naushad as his son.
The incident is of Tadibra village under the Nagara police station area. According to the medical report of the 13-year-old victim, the accused had slit the nerves in both hands of the girl. There were many slaps on the face. It is being told that this must have been done after the victim opposed Naushad's actions. The victim's father has told the media that the house of the accused Naushad is only 10 meters away from their house. He considered Naushad as his son. He also said that he does not know why Naushad had done so much cruelty to his daughter. He also told that Naushad used to visit his house and he was given tea and water when he came.
According to the victim's father, he had seen the fear of death in his daughter's eyes. The relatives of the deceased have demanded that the accused Naushad should also be put to death by torture. In another video, expressing satisfaction over the action of the local police, the victim's father said that the district's superintendent of police had helped him. With this, in relation to the conditions of his daughter's hospital, he told that the whole body of the deceased was bandaged. He said that the victim was not even able to open her eyes properly and she was not able to speak anything after the incident.
According to the report, the deceased had gone to see the fair along with her friend, from where Naushad took her along by asking her to drop her at the house. Later the deceased was recovered from a field in a moribund condition 5 km away from the fair. Presently, a heavy police force has been deployed in the village in view of the security.
