Goldy Brar, a feared gangster and alleged mastermind in the murder case of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, has reportedly been shot dead by rival gang members from the Dalla Lakhbir gang, The report indicates that Brar was killed at Hotel Fairmount in California, USA, but official confirmation is still awaited. Brar had long been thought to be hiding in Canada and was one of Canada's 25 most wanted fugitives.
Brar's connection to the murder of Sidhu Moosewala came to light when it was alleged that the singer was killed on Brar's orders on May 29, 2022. Goldy Brar, whose real name is Satinderjeet Singh, is the son of a former Punjab police officer. He began his criminal career by engaging in local gang rivalries in Punjab, but quickly escalated to committing more serious crimes, eventually earning a place among Canada's 25 most wanted fugitives for crimes like murder and supplying illegal firearms.
Goldy Brar's rise to infamy is also linked to his close association with jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. With Bishnoi behind bars, Brar was believed to have been coordinating the gang's activities from Canada, leveraging the gang's vast network of shooters and participating in illegal activities such as extortion and arms trafficking.
