New Delhi:- With Red Bull Racing Team Principal Christian Horner. Red Bull boss Christian Horner says that if Daniel Ricciardo wins, he will take over a second car from Red Bull Racing in time for the 2025 F1 season. The 34-year-old Australian driver drove for Red Bull from 2014 to 2018 before stints at Renault and McLaren, but failed to qualify for the 20-car championship in 2023. He signed with Red Bull as third driver. He effectively replaces the stars Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez. Red Bull's parent company loaned Ricciardo to second racing team AlphaTauri for the remainder of the season after AlphaTauri fired ill rookie Nyck de Vries. Ricciardo will drive for AlphaTauri for the first time at this Sunday's Hungarian Grand Prix. "So I have no further thoughts or expectations. “I think Daniel is considering AlphaTauri...he wants to win a Red Bull seat for 2025. This is his golden goal. And by going to AlphaTauri, I think he thinks that's the best way to make his case for 2025.” Ricciardo has won eight Grands Prix since his F1 debut in 2011, most recently he won the 2021 Italian Grand Prix. His best seasons were 2014 and 2016 when he finished third at the end of the year.
