Dasara Box Office collection Day 2: Crosses 50 crore

The much-anticipated film "Dasara," starring the great actor Nani, was released in five languages on March 30, making a magnificent premiere over the festival season.

With a worldwide share of more than Rs 25 crores, the picture has recovered more than half of its rights, which is fantastic because Saturday and Sunday will be better than Friday. Dasara's share on day 2 was the second highest for a tier-2 hero, trailing only Uppena. The film has already surpassed Rs 50 crores at the global box office. 'Dasara' is reported to have grossed Rs 53 crore worldwide, with a 36% occupancy rate in the Telugu-speaking area. The film looks to be on track to smash box office records.

SLV Cinemas, also shared a tweet where he wrote, "The movie grossed Rs 38 crore plus on its first day (worldwide), earning a staggering Rs 15 crore on its second day. The film's two days - worldwide total stands at more than Rs 53 crore."

 

In 'Dasara', Dharani, who is played by Nani, is an alcoholic who makes a career by stealing coal from trains. While everything is going well, one incident causes all the problems. He then decides to challenge the powerful people. The plot has significant twists as well as underlying emotions and drama. Nani and Keerthy Suresh film marks the directorial debut of Srikanth Odela and also stars Shine Tom Chacko, Sai Kumar and Poorna in main roles. Music and background score has been composed by Santosh Narayanan.
