DHAKA: Death toll from Bangladesh's unprecedented floods has risen to over 100, the authorities said. The Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room released a daily flood report on Sunday, revealing that 102 people were killed by floods between May 17 and June 28 in 27 of the 64 flood-affected districts. As per the daily flood report of the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room on Sunday, it shows that Most victims died from drowning, snake bites and lightning in the flood-hit areas. As of Sunday morning, at least 7 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours as of Sunday morning. The authorities have been fighting to deliver supplies in many northeastern and northern districts.
