The Cyclist Deborah Herold performed brilliantly on the seventh day of the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games at Ashgabat last evening. Here Herold managed to win two silver medals. In the Keirin event in track cycling, Deborah picked a silver and she finished at the second spot in the Team Sprint event with Alena Reji. In the games, the Andaman and Nicobar Islands girl has grabbed three silver medals. In the 200 metres race, she won her first silver. In the women's -48 kg kurash event India clinched a silver medal yesterday through Malaprabha Yallappa Jadhav. In the medals list, India is placed at ninth spot with five gold, six silver, and five bronze medals while hosts Turkmenistan is on the top. In the games, more than 200 athletes in 15 sports are representing India which is said as the second biggest multi-sporting event of the continent after the Asian Games.The 2017 Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games are held in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. On Sunday at 17 September 2017 the Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games opening ceremony held at the Olympic Stadium in Ashgabat. The closing ceremony of the game is scheduled to held on 27 September at the Olympic Stadium.
