Deepa Chatterjee, the wife of famous Bengali actor Soumitra Chatterjee, has passed away. At 2.55 pm on Sunday, Deepa breathed his last at Salt Lake Hospital. She was 83 years old and was suffering from diabetes and kidney disease. This information has been confirmed by Paulomi Bose, daughter of Soumitra and Deepa Chatterjee. She told, "After Bapi (Soumitra) left us in November, now mother has also left us. She kept telling us - please let me go''. Let us tell you that Deepa Chatterjee had been suffering from diabetes for the past 45 years. Apart from this, she also had a disease related to blood, which was undergoing treatment. Some time ago he was admitted to the hospital due to kidney problems. His family has confirmed that she died due to kidney problems. Keep in mind that Soumitra Chatterjee, the husband of Bengali actor Deepa, died in November 2020. He was found to be corona infected in October, after which he was undergoing treatment in Kolkata. He had won the war with the virus, but his mind was not supporting his body. After staying on ventilator support for a few days, he said goodbye to the world.
