Deepa Malik, Abhinav Bindra hail history creator Avani Lekhara

Tokyo: Avani Lakhera, who dropped a gold medal in India's bag at Tokyo Paralympics, has created history. Indian Paralympic Committee Chairman Deepa Malik congratulated him on winning the gold. Apart from him, Abhivan Bindra, who gave India its first gold at the Beijing Olympics, also congratulated her. Avani has become the first woman athlete in India to win a gold medal at the Paralympics.

The first time Avani had landed in the shooting range of Paralympics.
