Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on three-day visit to Lucknow starting today

New Delhi: Rajnath Singh, the Indian Defense Minister, will arrive in Lucknow on Friday for a three-day visit to his parliamentary constituency. Rajnath Singh will also pay a visit at Babu Banarsi Das University, where a statue of Dr. Akhilesh Das will be unveiled.

According to a senior official’s statement, the Defence Minister will arrive at Lucknow airport at 10:30 a.m., from where he will go for Kalidas Marg, where he would attend a consultative meeting of the Uttar Pradesh Defence Industrial Corridor,

The next day, on Saturday, the defence minister will attend the inauguration and foundation-laying ceremony at the PTC Industries Complex on Kanpur Road, followed by a Mamta Charitable Trust programme. According to the senior official, he will also open a new branch of St Joseph school. He will attend the All India Ex-Servicemen Services Council's Silver Jubilee festivities in Telibagh on Sunday. On Sunday at 4:20 p.m., he is scheduled to fly to  New Delhi.
