Will Delhi become London like this? Road to AIIMS suddenly collapses by 15 feet

New Delhi: A picture has surfaced of CM Arvind Kejriwal's claim to make Delhi a London. In fact, a road collapsed in Delhi on Saturday. People are having problems commuting due to the road turning into potholes. The road suddenly collapsed on Saturday morning under a flyover near the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in the capital Delhi. A big pothole was formed on the road, forcing traffic to be stopped on the road.

The road has been transformed into a pit about 20 feet large. The depth of the huge pothole in the middle road is said to be about 15 feet. The road leads to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). It would be a coincidence that no vehicle was leaving when the road collapsed, otherwise there could have been a major accident. Delhi Police officials rushed to the spot after receiving information about the road collapse. PWD officials also rushed to the spot and started repairing the Dhansi road. The sewer pipeline reportedly passes down from where the road is sunken.

The pipeline is clearly visible in the pothole on the road. The flow of water in the sewer is also fast which is believed to be the main reason behind the road collapse. PWD officials who reached the spot ordered JCB (JCB) and excavated the road so that the route could be repaired and traffic restored at the earliest. There has been no statement from the administration in this regard so far.
