Delhi is all smogged up! Capital turns into gas chamber

New Delhi: The residents of Delhi have yet to receive pollution relief. The wind is blowing slowly, and there is a chance of increased air pollution today, i.e. In fact, Delhi's air quality was rated as "extremely bad" on Friday as well. Delhiites are currently inhaling dirty air all of the time, and this is their strength. Due to fog, gloomy circumstances, and calm air in the morning, Delhi's average air quality index was estimated to be 429 points last Thursday, placing it in the critical category.

In the evening, there was light rain in most sections of Delhi, which caused the pollutants to settle down to some extent. Let us also remind you that on Friday, Delhi's Air Quality Index was 34.6 points, putting it in the very low category. However, it has improved by 83 points from the previous day. At 5 p.m., the Central Pollution Control Board reported that PM10 levels in the air were 254 micrograms per cubic metre and PM2.5 levels were 162 micrograms per cubic metre. The amount of PM10 in the air is less than 100, and the level of PM2 is less than 200, according to the standards. The level of 5 should be less than 60. According to it, delhi's air pollution level is still two and a half times the standards. The Met department has predicted that the wind speed will remain calm for most of the time today i.e. Even if the wind blows, it will not exceed four kilometres per hour. Air speed is likely to remain below 10 kmph tomorrow i.e.
