CM Kejriwal made a big announcement, Delhi will have its own Board of Education

New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal made a big announcement on Sunday, saying that the country's capital will now have its own Board of Education. This decision has been approved in the meeting of the Delhi Cabinet. In 2021-21, some schools will study under the new board. At present, there are only CBSE / ICSE boards in Delhi. But now, like other states, Delhi will also have its own Board of Education.

Arvind Kejriwal further said that now such education will be prepared so that after studying he does not have to eat for employment. He said that today the entire education system insists on rote learning, which has to be changed to focus on understanding. While announcing this, Arvind Kejriwal said that today we have cleared the formation of the Delhi Board of School Education in the Cabinet of Delhi. This is not a minor education board. There was a need to create this education board because in the last six years we started spending about 25 percent of Delhi's budget on education every year. This led to the provision of magnificent buildings, good rooms, and cleanliness in government schools.

Arvind Kejriwal further said, "We made many big changes in the world of education. Before this, we had to get permission from the government for any work in the school. There were many posts lying vacant in the school. But we gave this to the Principal of the school. Power is given. Many new experiments were done."
