New Delhi: Before the West Bengal assembly elections, once again, the state's CM and Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo Mamta Banerjee has received a major setback. Dinesh Trivedi, a noted personality of West Bengal and former veteran leader Dinesh Trivedi has joined BJP today in the presence of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President JP Nadda.

After Dinesh Trivedi joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), party chief JP Nadda said that Dinesh Trivedi was a good man but in the wrong party. Nadda further said that we respect thoughtful people. After many veteran TMC leaders like Mukul Roy, Suvendu Adhikari, now Dinesh Trivedi's coming to the BJP's court is going to raise concern for Mamata Banerjee just before the election summer.

Dinesh Trivedi, who joined the BJP in the presence of party president JP Nadda, resigned from the post of TMC Rajya Sabha MP in Parliament during the budget session. The joining of Dinesh Trivedi after the announcement of elections in West Bengal will be a big boost for the BJP. Dinesh Trivedi, who was the railway minister, had to resign from his post after increasing the fare and it was said that due to pressure from Mamata Banerjee, he had to resign. Since this incident, his relationship with Mamta Banerjee was not very good.
