New Delhi: The shortage of beds in Delhi is steadily increasing amid the growing crisis of the corona epidemic. Meanwhile, beds are being arranged by constructing additional covid care centres. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday inspected one such covid centre and the centre is being set up outside GTB Hospital. Icu beds are now over in Delhi, 500 beds at Ramlila Maidan near GTB Hospital, 500 beds and 200 beds at Radha Swami Centre at Main Ramlila Maidan in Delhi. CM Kejriwal said 1200 ICU beds will be set up in Delhi by May 10. Kejriwal said the panic mode in hospitals is beginning to fade away. Central and state government officials have worked together and tried to overcome the difficulties. Kejriwal said there were three days in the past week when things had gone completely uncontrollable. But things are likely to improve in the next two to three days.
