The hearing for the parole issue of mafia turned politician Mukhtar Ansari is likely to be heard by the Delhi High court today. Justice Mukta Gupta gave a stay order on a plea from the Election commission of India. On February 17, Ansari secured a parole from Central Bureau of investigation to campaign in his constituency Mau for the UP assembly elections. He is accused in murder case of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLAKrishanand Rai in November 2005.
