New Delhi: There is a continuous confrontation between the central and state government on many issues of Delhi. In this sequence, a big scam came to the fore regarding Delhi's liquor policy, in which serious allegations have also been leveled against Manish Sisodia, the Deputy Chief Minister of the Kejriwal government. Dinesh Arora is also considered close to Delhi's Deputy CM Manish Sisodia. According to the ED's charge sheet, Dinesh Arora met Sanjay Singh in the initial days, through whom he came in contact with Manish Sisodia. The meeting took place during a party at Dinesh Arora's own restaurant, Unplugged Courtyard. At the request of Sanjay Singh, he spoke to several restaurant owners and arranged for a check of Rs 1000. After which Rs 82 lakh was handed over to Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia for the party fund for the upcoming assembly elections in Delhi. Not only this, the ED has also alleged that Sanjay Singh settled a case of Dinesh Arora which was pending with the Excise Department.
