New Delhi: Gopal Rai, a minister in the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government of Delhi, has said on Sunday that the government headed by Arvind Kejriwal of Delhi will run a special program to create more employment opportunities in the city. This step is being taken to bring back the shaky economy of the country's capital due to the lockdown. Speaking to the media, the Labor and Employment Minister has said that under the special program, CM Arvind Kejriwal will launch an employment portal in the next few days, where such companies can register themselves who are looking for people for appointments. People looking for employment in this can also register. Rai said that the Kejriwal government is going to bring new reforms soon to bring the economy of Delhi back on track due to the lockdown implemented due to Coronavirus infection. He said that due to the lockdown, a large number of migrants moved from Delhi and many people lost their jobs. Rai further said, "To create more employment opportunities, we have decided to run a special program at a rapid pace." He further said, "In the next few days the government will launch an employment portal which will serve as a common platform for employers and job seekers.''
