NEW DELHI: The Delhi Police Special Force detained 2 key members of an inter-state illegal firearms syndicate near the NTPC Eco Park on the Kalindi Kunj-Meethapur Road in Delhi on February 16, sources said.
Ten pistols, including four semi-automatic pistols with.30 bore, two pistols with.32 bore, and four single shot pistols with.315 bore, as well as a Maruti Ertiga automobile used to transport weaponry from the custody of the accused pair have also been seized by police.
"There was information that Delhi-NCR mafia and hardened criminals were buying sophisticated weapons from arms dealers in Madhya Pradesh. The group developed this knowledge further.
